Notification Alerts - noty.js
mark.byers

Noty allows you to add simple notification "popups" that you see in many modern applications, like twitter, Facebook, iPhone etc

It's free and can work in many different ways depending on the user experience you are trying to create.

This link includes the code, but also a "Run It" open so you can try it out with no coding.

30 Getting Started Guides!
mark.byers

Hi all,

We now have 30 getting started guides on how to use mydigitalstructure.com and also how you can integrate in other "cloud based" services.

Check out the Getting Started section on the website to find out more.

Three recent ones are:

  • Adding realtime alerts/communication to your application - e.g. when a meeting is coming up
  • Yammer.com - a social enterprise communication tool.
  • Windows 8 - including a great story about how we used a freelancer.com expert to build a contact management system in 10 hours.

See it first hand at our annual event, 1st/2nd March in Melbourne.  If you can't see the relevance, then have a think about if there is anyone in your network that would get value from attending - we'd love them to join our growing community.
